Lasiter fired abck still very annoyed, "What would work best for you
is irrevelant. Keeping your presense on this station as low key as possible
and ensuring that there is no connections from you to me or Garibaldi is of
top importance. You seeing my son does not accomplish that now does it...."
Garibaldi replied in a much more calm way, "What Admiral Lasiter is
shooting for is an agreement between all of us here to keep a low profile.
We need to make sure that there is no connection between you and your
operation, Selara and Starfleet's top brass. This includes your
relationship with the boy."
"I take exception to that, Garibaldi. You two can not tell me whom
I can and can not associaite with." Sam replied about as indignant as his
father.
"*Commander*, it would be wise for you to put your passion back into
your pants. No one here has suggested that you can not carry on with Ms.
D'amondra. What we *are* suggesting is that you both make damned sure that
it stays a secret. We are also *asking* for ways on how to make this
happen." Garibaldi replied stressing the difference in rank to reign in the
young lad.
Turning to Selara, "Personally, this is big pain in the back side
you two seeing each other, but that is neither here nor there. What we need
to do is to make sure that this is a privite matter, not a media event. Can
you understand what we are asking?" Garibaldi said trying to keep the
cooler heads talking while the hot heads cooled off.
