"Actually, yes I am still near by your office. I will head back
that way. Can I bring you a real coffee? I am at a vendor now."
Garibaldi replied.

A few moments later the rear admiral returned. He passed into the office of
the JAG Chief and started his conversation.

"Good morning David. I hope that you slept well. It is not
looking like a good day, with that new tid bit about Doctor Brennan that hit
the news this morning. It is a real shame that a good man like him gets the
crap thrown at him while others that need it get off scott free." he said
as a matter of factly as one would discuss the days events with a good
friend.

"Well, I do not want to take up to much of your time, but I have
something of a personal favor to ask of you. One that you will find
surprising coming from me. I hope you do not mind my imposition, but it
involves your uncle and the our boss." he added gingerly.
