Lorin stood when t'Llwheiir entered, "Admiral." Then he sat down again.

 >"Good day, Admiral." Lasiter said as she entered. "Admiral Renaud and I
were just completing some business, and were switching to >concerns of the
good Doctor Brennan. Since the three of us will be at the press
conference, I thought that we would talk about what would >be said. And,
thank you for thinking the same thing. Please have a seat, and we can begin."

 >"Let us start with me telling you what I had planned, and we can go from
there. It is my attention that I will restate SF policy that details
of >an investigation while it is ongoing. That we will prosecute anyone
that fails to comply with that policy. I also intend to make a on
the >record statement of my support for the doctor, by saying that I will
not use another physician. That I trust him enough to be my
doctor. I >would also like to address the racist image, but do not know
just how to do that without totally invading his
privacy. Thoughts?" Lasiter >asked.

 >"I do not recall a specific use of the term, racist, although it might
have been implied."

"Well the two alleged victims of the doctor, you and now this other person
are of Rihansu origins, therefore the press does appear to be focusing on
that and I'm sure that will get more airplay as these reports keep getting
issued."

 >"Before I go further, would it be appropriate for me to make a statement?"

Lorin wasn't in a position to answer that so he didn't...he'd actually
prefer her to shut up altogether...
