"They had not been, prior to this evening," Carrhae replied. "However,
never before have they become my reality, even briefly. Should that
happen in the wrong place or the wrong time, it could be dangerous."
Matt nodded. "This is true." He frowned in thought. "I... aside from
having a mind-adept Vulcan build you a wall around them, I'm not sure what
else can be done." He looked appropriate contrite. "I'm sorry," he tried,
as lame as it was.
