"Two points, more than the others that come to mind.  First, his
staff waited weeks to interview me about the second attack, only doing do
after the press forced the issue.  Second, that security of what should
have been a high-level investigation was lax enough to allow a leak that
created the media frenzy we now enjoy.

"This is to speak nothing of the other murders that remain unsolved months
after they occurred."  Her tone was cool, but there was definitely a fire
in her eyes.
