Dais could not help but respond with his own smile. "It does appear that it
will prove to be quite a challenge, particularly considering what happened
wiht my predessesor, Cdr. Romari."
"Well," Matt said, looking a bit embarrassed, "I wasn't going to bring that
up, but seeing as how you did... yes. There is that."
"Yes, I do know about his untimely death. I wanted to make sure I had some
of a handle of what was going on here so I accessesed some of the more
recent log reports from the station." The Trill paused for a moment before
conitnuing. "It proved to be quite an evening as I read. At the same time,
I believe that I will enjoy working here. Everyone I have met so far have
proved to be very pleasant."
"I think the vast majority of Spacedocks, umm, denizens, is pleasant. I
hope you find the place to your liking. If there's anything that I can do
to help smooth your transition, I hope you'll feel free to call upon me."
"Thank you, Doctor. If there is nothing else, I will leave to whatever you
were doing."

With that, Commander Dais left the Doctor's quarters and made his way up to
the Operations Center. He quickly made his way over to the Communications
console where Lt. Brad Arsineau was busy at work.

"Mr. Arsineau, I would like you to put a tracer on Dr. Brennan's
communicator around the time when Admiral t'Llthweir was attacked in the
holodeck. I need as much information as you can get out of it.
