"Ahhhh the diplomatic party people. They always know how to ruin a day of a
Starfleet officer. Always making demands or some other odd imposition that,
of course, must be taken care of by the top levels of command. I am
fortunate not to have too much contact with them. But do I get the sense
that you are not so fortunate....." Ty asked in his oh so, not , subtle
manner.

Audra was starting to wonder if this Lasiter was a telepath. She decided to
be diplomatic about the situation. "Considering my position aboard the
station, I am required to have continued contact with many of the
representatives here on Spacedock. In fact, there are a number of them that
I enjoy working with," said Audra as she started walking toward the
Turbolift.

Tyrus smiled. He knew the feeling. Being required to something that you do
not like, while working with needy VIPs. Not the most sought after of jobs
in Starfleet.

"Oh, please do not get me wrong, Commander. There are many ambassadors that
are quite enjoyable to work with. Some of my oldest friends are now
ambassadors, and some of my greatest teachers where ambassadors when I worked
with them. It is just the select few that tug on your nerves, particularily
the last good one. They even seem to like doing that." he replied as they
walked.

"I must admit, sir, that there are a few that would like to spend more time
with me than is required by our working relationship." Audra stepped on to
the Turbolift. Once the Admiral was aboard, she indicated their desire to go
to the Ambasssadorial area.

"To what end?" he said not feining curiousity.

"Le's just say that there is one Ambassador in particular who seems less
interested in a professional relationship than I am comfortable with,' repled
the Operations Manager uncomfortably.
