With a horrible smile the Admiral replied, "God speed, Commander. That is
the most difficult of positions you are in. Good luck."

"Thank you, sir," replied the young officer with a blush as she realized that
she was getting a bit distractd with her assignment.

Just then, the turbolift slowed and the doors parted. "This is probably one
of the most interesting aspects of the station. This is the area of the
station where the various consulates and embassies are located. There are a
number of offices in the area representing worlds that are both members of
the Federation, some aligned worlds, and even a number of foreign powers that
would be considered less than friendly toward us."

(response?)

"Audra nodded. The number of staff members for each delegation varies.
Responsibility for Security on the station is primarily handled by station
security and Starfleet Security. Some of the Ambassadors do have a small
security detachment assigned to them, but it is encouraged that they work
closely with Starfleet personnel in order to help promote security for
everyone on board."

(response)

Audra then picked up the pace as she carried on the tour. "Most of the
Ambassadors maintain quarters on board the station. Quarters are provided
for the Ambassadors and their staff on board if they like, but some do
continue to live on the surface of Earth if it is their preference."

(Any other questions before we move on to the next site?)

As they reached the end of the corridor, Audra and Admiral Lasiter arrived at
another turbolift. She stepped on board and requested the Promenade once the
doors closed again.
