Re: Next Meeting
An additional note about tomorrow's meeting of Starfleet Command. Please be
prepared to discuss your list of the top 5 issues/problems you feel you have
within your division. This would be the list that Admiral Lasiter requested
a number of weeks ago. They will play an integral part of the meeting. To
be on the safe side, your list should be at least 7 items in length.
As a refresher, the list is to contain five (5) {but more is prudent} issues
or problems within your department. These items may be projects that you
feel are necessary, changes to your department's mission or command
structure, impediments to the success of your department, etc. Just be
prepared to discuss them.

the message was a standard message that one would expect to get. However,
the the trained eye the suggestion to have more was pretty much a hint from
someone that already knew that if you came in with only 5 then you were
hosed. The term "discuss" also stuck out. That was code for convince and
defend......
