Lasiter had bid t'Llhweiir good-bye, and had made several calls to various
members of the UFP Council. Calls that he did not like making. All that
political kind of thing.
It was getting close to 1330 hours, the time that he was scheduled to leave
his office. He gathered his things- PADDs with various reports on them and
finished his coffee. When it was time to go, he did just that. He stopped
by M'Rrenn's office to say good-bye for the day and to give a few final
instructions.
"I am leaving early, Commander. Let the staff know that they can
cut out early too if they feel that they can. I have been working them hard
and a breather will not harm anyone. Make any necessary arrangements. "
Lasiter said as he left. He finally stopped by his secretary's desk and
told her to take off at 1400, and that he would be back at 0700. She need
not be in until 0830, that he had a few meetings that would keep him busy
until then.
