"I had wished for privacy until we were both certain of the direction our
relationship.  It seems, however, that we no longer have the luxury of
privacy."

"It would seem that way, yes," he said.  A pause.  "There is no regulation?"
he asked for clarification.

(*eh?)

"I was under the misperception that there was."  Another pause, and then the
smile crept into his voice.  "Imagine my sudden joy and lack of
trepidation."
