Lorin's assistant showed in his colleagues and then closed the door ...
present were Admiral Lorin Renaud, Captain David Boulay, Commander Joe
Garibaldi, Commander K'Tael and Commander Dais.
Lorin was standing and motioned for all to sit, "Please...Mr. Dais welcome
aboard"
Commander Dais nodded his head. "Thank you, sir. It is a pleasure to be
here."
David smiled and welcomed Dais and watched Joe as he took his place.
He sat and took a deep breath, "Thank you for coming. Here's the deal-in
one way or another you are all involved in the current search to find the
attacker of Admiral t'Llwheiir and this needs to be resolved. I believe the
CinC is going to ask an enormous amount of questions and he expects
answers." He waited a moment to let it sink in..."Computer-display picture
from my PADD-Star1.
A picture of the assassin flashed up.
"This is the woman known as Star-she is now Prime Suspect. Our good Doctor
will be officially cleared tomorrow."
The new station XO leaned forward. "What do we have on her, sir?"
K'Tael said little. This seemed to conclude that what Aravis had found out
on Mars may have been limited, but essentially correct. He was pleased to
see that they had found even more information to help clear Dr. Brennan.
"She is a legend by Romulan standards. She has hundreds of kills and
apparently doesn't show signs of slowing down. Until she is found and
either captured, or killed, the entire Admiralty is in danger.
Unfortunately the Romulan Ambassador has steadfastly refused to part with as
much information as I had hoped, although I expect a non-classified dossier
shortly. Questions?"
K'Tael had to admit that he was not surprised. She was, in fact, being even
more forthcoming that Starfleet Intelligence itself. Aravis had hit a wall
when trying to get more information about this person from them.
"Do you think this report will include information about this woman's
current whereabouts or possible haunts, sir?"
Dais had to admit that this would definitely make this a lot easier, but he
had a feeling that this would not be the case, considering the report was
going to include non-classified info.
