Even as the screen cleared, t'Llhweiir was activating her combadge.
"Y'Toi, would you contact Rodman in the docking port and ask him to ready
<Delon> for departure in one hour.  I will need him provisioned for three
weeks."

"Yes, Admiral," her assistant replied.

t'Llhweiir ended the call, then she used a secured channel the viewer to
reach the CinC's office.  "Is Admiral Lasiter available?  It is
important."

When he came on, she quickly brought him up-to-speed.  "I know you want
meet with the admiralty tomorrow, but this is a task I can give to no one
else.  Do I have your permission to depart?"

(response)

Once their conversation ended, she contacted Brennan.  <Matthew, I will
need to postpone dinner.  I have a task that will take me from Spacedock
for several days.>

Although she did not display it openly, one who knew her well could tell
that she more than a little enthusiastic.
