Audra simply nodded as she logged the situation as ordered. Things would
fall into place. Once the Admiral was gone and she had completed her
orders, she turned to the pair of Commanders who remained in Operations.
"So, how are things going with Dr. Brennan?"

"It would appear that we have been able to pool the information necessary to
clear him. All we need to do know is narrow down the search for our
assailant, and we will have cleared a great deal of our work." The Klingon
Security Chief looked toward Commander Dais, which made it clear that the
new Trill first officer played a big roll in obtaining that information.

"I really cannot take the credit for it. Your Lt. Arsineau did all the
work. In fact, it was not even my idea."

"How are things going with your work on the Venasian shuttle incident?"
asked K'Tael.

"They are moving along. We are in the process of interviewing certain
possible Venasian ties with one of our shuttle techies. He may have been
the one who planted the bomb, but I think that he has ties to a Venasian
splinter group from within the military that supplied him with the incentive
and the materials."

Dais had to admit that this surprised him. He had not known about a
splinter group. The reality of the situation was that he did not know all
that much about internal Venasian politics, but he was going to learn pretty
quickly on the station. He waited to hear how K'Tael would respond.
