How are things going with your work on the Venasian shuttle incident?" asked
K'Tael.

"They are moving along. We are in the process of interviewing certain
possible Venasian ties with one of our shuttle techies. He may have been
the one who planted the bomb, but I think that he has ties to a Venasian
splinter group from within the military that supplied him with the incentive
and the materials."

Dais had to admit that this surprised him. He had not known about a
splinter group. The reality of the situation was that he did not know all
that much about internal Venasian politics, but he was going to learn pretty
quickly on the station. He waited to hear how K'Tael would respond.

"That would seem to support what you and Admiral Izata had been finding
earlier. I have heard that you questiond this technician?"

Audra nodded. "We are currently working on trying to access some personal
information such as his banking accounts to prove any connections. We are
just waiting for the proper warrents to come through from the Judge
Advocate's office. That should not be too much of a problem since they had
representatives sit in and participate in the interview."

Dais had to admit that it looked like things were starting to fall into
place with most of the investigations.

K'Tael nodded in agreement. "It would seem that you may have missed your
calling, Commander," he said with a smile. "You have done quite well with
this investigation."

Audra smile with humility. "Thank you, sir. I am just doing my duty. I
have had a great deal of help from Admiral Izata, Captain Boulay, and
Commander Garibaldi."

"They may have helped you, but you have been coordinating the investigation,
Commander."

"Who is this Admiral Izata? I do not believe that I have met that officer,"
inquired Dais.

"She is the Commendante of Starfleet Academy. I assume that she is busy with
her work at the Academy," said K'Tael. He looked to Audra to see if she had
spoken with the Admiral recently.

"I have not spoken or seen the Admiral since the first time we questioned the
technician and his staff." Audra wondered if anyone else had seen her. It
was not like her to not come to the station. She would have to see if she
came on board for the important meeting tomorrow.

"Well, gents," said Audra. "It has been a pleasure coordinating all this
with you, but I really have to get back to my regular duties. I have fallen
a bit behind with all the othre things that I have been working on."

"Understood, Commander," replied K'Tael. "Do you mind if I take some
information about your tech?"

Audra picked up a PADD and downloaded information about Specialist Dyson
Edwards to it. "Here you go, sir."

"Thank you, Commander. I may have another way to get some information about
your suspect that is a little less traditional."

"Anything you could provide would be welcome, sir," replied Audra.

The Klingon nodded and with that he departed. Dais, on the other hand, made
his way over to his station. He brought up the recent status reports on the
station. This was to be his first duty shift in Ops. "Anything I should
know about going on, Commander," he asked as he scanned the reports.

"Everything seems to be running fairly smoothly, sir. Just the usual traffic
coming and going."

Upon leaving the Operations Center, K'Tael took a turbolift down to where he
usually met with Uglara and Tom. He wanted to see if they had any
information about Specialist Edwards. It did not take him long to arrive.
Once there, he could do little but wait and see if they wanted to talk.
