Kit sipped at her tea, which looked innocent, but she was carefully judging
the loyalties of Tyrus. If Kettering did want to make a grab at power,
he'd need help, and the brother of the current CinC was a good start. He
seemed to be Kettering's man, and that bothered her. She decided to hold
her cards to her chest for the time being.
"Well, he didn't exactly lay out the rrred carrrpet forrr me afterrr I told
him about what was going on, you know." She decided to warm him up for it.
