FOx and t'Llhweiir left Shorty hart-broken, but richer for his pain. They found out,
in an around about fashion, that the USS James Mason was there delivering surplus
Starfleet small arms and other contraband to the Cardassian freightor. The freightor
then took them to a series of stations where their tracks were lost. The final
destination was any number of various police actions that were running within the
Federation. They were providing arms to the "rebels" or so the theory went. However,
Shorty said that he shipped to both sides- better for business... Perhaps they were
not going to the rebels at all but to the governmental forces....
They meandered their way down to the promenade and down by the docks. They were
minding their own business, but paying attention to the goings on near the pier where
the Cardis ship and the Mason were docked...
{Thoughts anyone...}
There was a small going on with several officers near the entrance to the pier...
"What do you mean you can't unlock the transporters? " one asked obviously annoyed
beyond belief.
"THe command functions have all been locked."
"What....."
