Audra made her way to the Security Chief's office. It took her only a few minutes. She slipped into Security and found herself outside his door and rang the chime.
The door parted to allow her in. K'Tael stepped from behind his desk with a smile. "It is good to see you again, Commander. Please have a seat." "Thank you for seeing me on such short notice." K'Tael could tell that she had something serious to talk about. It was not often that she came down to Security. "What can I do for you?" "Well, I was coming to talk to you about the case you have me working on. Our informant has led us to his contact. We are planning to hold a little party down below for him and his contact. We wanted to make sure that you knew about it and to invite you along if you wanted to come." "It sounds like things are really moving along on the case. I am impressed, Audra." Audra smiled an embarrassed smile. "Thanks, K'Tael. "Do youthink you will be bringing this contact in?" "It looks like a strong possibility. It will depend what goes on at the party?" Audra laughed. "I am sorry. That is what we have started to call it. It was a code word." "Well, it definitley sound like you all have everything in hand. Why don't you guys go ahead. I have enough to keep me busy. Just keep me up to date as to what is going on." The human woman nodded. "Will do, K'Tael," she said as she stood up." "And, Audra, be careful. Parties can be really dangerous." She nodded in response before heading out of the office. K'Tael watched her go. A part of him was sad that she was in command rather than Security, but he was glad that he had the opportunity for her to help out. He turned back to his desk to access the files that Uglara had given him. (What does he find?) Audra made her way back to the rendez vous point. "Well, it looks like we are ok.
