"And, Audra, be careful. Parties can be really dangerous."

She nodded in response before heading out of the office.

K'Tael watched her go. A part of him was sad that she was in command rather than
Security, but he was glad that he had the opportunity for her to help out. He turned
back to his desk to access the files that Uglara had given him.

K'Tael finds a treasure trove of information. In addition to the complaining about
Garibaldi being more talk than substance, and the complaining about the hand being
found there was this...

"Look, this is starting to get out of hand. We had to eliminate O'Neill because
he was talking to security chief, K'Tael. If he were not running in circiles after
his tail and other cases we would have bigger problems. Dropping off the dead of
O'Neil was a good move, but poorly executed. I should not have let security find it,
I should have cut the damned thing off and left it in the bar where all of the other
would be informants would find it first." came the voice of Relik the Bajoran Chief of
Security. (K'Tael recognized it because he had spoken to him many times regarding
security for the embassy)

Another voice, which sounded like the Chief of staff, Rivik... "Well that is in the
past, and we can not worry about it now. More important things are ahead of us. Like
getting Lasiter. He has an agenda, and to make it work he is going to need political
help. Help that we can provide. We need him to feel some serious heat. Heat that
only the Ambassador can make go away, at least for a while. Long enough for him to be
ours. Once we have him in the fold we can make more agressive moves to take control
of Starfleet."

"As long as do not forget our past, or it may bite us... ABout the Lasiter
thing... is that not why Garibaldi was brought in? He is supposed to be doing
something for us in that respect, why has he not been paying off? I think we should
terminate him, possibly Lasiter as well. They are close, and I do not trust
Garibaldi. For all we know he is telling Lasiter everything." Relik replied a bit
testy and anxious.

"Just calm down. Nothing will happen to either of them until I say so..."

"Or the Ambassador gives the word..."

"Whatever... now what about that last shipment?"

"It made it fine. There was a snag though. We had to eliminate a third party
weapons supplier. There was no other way. They were getting greedy." Relik replied
switching tones as topics changed.

   "What happened?"

"Torus had to kill him and his crew. I made the transfer and left it to Torus. He
had borded the small craft at that point. I did not want to watch his sloppy work,
and I had to get the Starfleet frigate back to it's assigned mission."

"You did not make sure that he finished the job right? Stupid..."

"Hey!... you were bitching so I had to get back. Starfleet would have known
something was up if the the frigate went missing for too long. It was a small time
smugglar named Jackson Hardcastle and a band of shoddy rabble... "

K'Tael got more evidence on more crimes... illegal use of a Starfleet vessel,
piracy, extortion, and an admission that he (Relik) dismembered O'Neil- his first
informant...

Audra made her way back to the rendez vous point. "Well, it looks like we are ok.
K'Tale couldn't join us, but he has give us a go."

"Great." the Marshal replied. "Then it is time to get going. We have to set up a
bit for this little party of ours."

They departed along with their 'tactical' teams. They had enough security and
Federation Marshalls to take down one hell of a gang. Which was convienent, as that
was exactly what they were hoping to do.

It was a long wait. A wait that got very boring. Grimes had brought a deck of
cards to help pass the time. He had obviously been on many of these kind of
operations before.

About an hour and a half into the tedium the meeting started. Edwards was there,
as planned, and wired. Each of the different teams had monitoring devices so that all
parts of the room, all participants would be covered. Charles arrived with about 5
others. As they spoke, another group of 7 arrived, bringing the total present to 14,
with Edwards.

They talked- they were planning on placing bombs near Ops to disrupt station
Command and Control, which would allow them to set off other explosives in the ship
yards, crew quarters, and ambassadorial section of the station. This was an ambitious
plan, but it's chances of working were pretty good. Especially considering since half
of the attendees wore Starfleet uniforms. Possibly stolen... but then again Audra
recognized a few of them as maintenance crew, dock workers, and security folk.

Grimes commented, "Looks like a pretty well organized little party. They look to be
a bit more organized than the normal thug group..."
