Audra had to admit that it sounded like a line from an old movie ... a
really bad one. She figured she would take the line and try to reel him
in. "What kind of change?"

"Bring in strong leaders, not the weak corrupt officers and politicians
that we must suffer with. Pay back those traitorous Venasians for
their treaty with the evil Dominion dogs. We want someone that will
stand up for the Federation, not a Venasian lap dog." was the reply.

Audra glanced again at Grimes. She could not believe that she was
hearing this. She felt the urge to defend Lasiter, but knew that it was
not the time. "You do realize that anything you say here could be
used against you in a court of law?"

"Yeah, I understand. I also know that I stand a better chance of not
going to the can if I cooperate with you folks." he replied.

"Do you actions include being a part of a conspiracy to bomb a shuttle
carrying a group of Venasian diplomats?"

"Just hold on a minute here. I am not for starting a war with them. I
want our leaders to get some back bone and push them out. Only pee
ons like me get it in a war, and I am not gonna buy it for some hot shot
in Admiral's garb. Especially for a weak Venasian lover..."

Audra studied the man. "What makes you think that Admiral Lasiter
has a Venasian lover?"

"The full court press when ever they beckon. How he deals with them
with a complete lack of strength. It is not exactly a secret that he
wants to find them a home in this part of the galaxy. He is more
concerned for looking out for them, then for dealing with the problems
at home. Corrupt, weak, unqualified and worse in our own leadership..."

"What type of actions have you and your friends taken to promote
and advance your cause?"

"A bombing here was to the first that I was part of. I had attended a
few meetings and rallies, but ahve not been all that active in the
group until now. Charles is the real master mind behind things. That
and some one called Pony."

"Who are 'Charles' and 'Pony'?"

(OOC: Sorry, I have not been on. I was at a Library Conference for the past
two days. I thought I was going to have access, but I was wrong about that.)
