<excerpt><fontfamily><param>Verdana</param>The change of venue was all

set, but first was breakfast. The last one at the base. The rest would

be in the field....

</bigger><fontfamily><param>Verdana</param>Kitanya came in to the

officers eating area to find the table covered in maps and PADDs, with

the two captains yelling profainities at each other as they arm wrestled.

It looked as if they had been there for a long time. The stacked up

dishes on another table was proof enough for that. In fact it looked as

if they had been there all night...

Her first instinct was to roar at them, to be absolutely furious, claws

extended, tail slashing the air behind her like a brandished sword, and

fangs glinting in the light. But they obviously hadn't been fighting all

night; there was nothing smashed, and they'd eaten together and been

planning together. This was good. Maybe this was what they needed to work

out their aggressions, a good, old-fashioned arm wrestling match. She checked

to make sure it wasn't the Klingon tournament version, with sharp blades on

either side to take the hand off the loser. Seeing that it wasn't, Kit just

moved to a recessed corner and watched. They had to

work it out for themselves. She'd only step in if it came to blows.

She watched for several minutes as the two officers struggled to pull the

other's arm over to the table. It did not last too long. The Klingon was

clearly stronger than the human, but the human put up a good show.

"Good show, Captain." Black said flexing hs wrist to losen it up from the

stress relief.

"You are not as pathetic as I thought you were, Captain. " came the

teasing reply.

   "What ever....." Blakc replied.

They had obviously worked a few things out, including a division of labor n

the command position. Perhaps a break through as well.....
