OOC: jumping forward a bit to bring back our good friends.....
IC: It had been an interesting trip. Starfleet's Chief of Intelligence had
met with one of her top field operatives, discovered a weapons smuggling
operation, captured a Federation Starship (the USS Mason) all in a matter of a
day, not including travel time...
The unexpected arrival of Matt Brennan and his new shadow- Nabru -
certainly helped matters. Not to mention that he was a sight for sore eyes.
Fox, t'Llhweiir's operative, had already started his return trip into
Romulan territory by the time that the trio of heros were returning home to
SPD.
Lasiter was happy to hear that they were on there way home. Although, he
was not pleased to hear what kept them- namely the smuggling operation - but
that too had been handled. The entire crew that Brennan and t'Llhweiir and
captured were in the brig at a Starfleet starbase awaiting trial. LCMR.
Joseph Garibaldi had sent one of his task force folk there to see if he could
pick up a few pieces and use them for their efforts at stamping out corruption
within Starfleet. The odds were good.
Matt and Carrhae were approaching Spacedock, each in their respective
craft. It was good to be home... or was it...
