Somehow Earth just lacked a little bit of something. Caimlyn was not really sure what it was, but he could never feel quite at home there. It was 60% water, but that just wasn't enough. That didn't mean he wasn't willing to take his leave here, thogh.
He was vacationing in one of the many undersea communities that had developed in the planet's Pacific Ocean. While it was not the same seas as the ones he found on his homeworld, he was willing to settle for it on short notice. The problem was, shore leave was about to be cancelled.
He had just returned to his room after a swim to find a communique from his superiors. He was being ordered to report to Spacedock for a meeting in the room CC125 in approximately an hour. Getting orders was not really all that unusual in his line of work. What was unusual was the fact that that was all the information included in the orders. There was no actual assignment given besides reporting to the requested meeting.
He quickly changed into a uniform and arranged for transport to the station that orbited the planet. While it would have been niced to visit with his sister, who was stationed as the Ambassador for his people to the Federation on the station, the time frame did not allow for it ... And he had a feeling that there would not be much of an opportunity for it afterward.
His shuttle arrived on the station with just enough time to reach the meeting. He quietly rode the turbolift to the designated floor and after requesting more information from one of the nearby kiosk's he arrived at the designated room to find a number of people already there. From what he could tell, he was the only non-human present. He quietly took a seat and awaited the start of the meeting.
