The hail of phaser fire from the Special Ops team was just what the doctor
ordered at the most oppertune of times. Captain Lasiter was spared when
Kitanya shot and killed the Felinid attacker with a dead bead on Lasiter's
head. He fired as he was falling, hitting the back of Lasiter's chair
instead. Unfortunately, they had not arrived in time to save the bridge. The
tactical officer was dead as was his station and the helm board.

The Hathor now started to list to port, and there was no way to effectively
control her with a dead helm console.

A few more seconds of firing and the last Felinid on the bridge was down, but
shotting was still coming from the open doors of the observation lounge. A
tricorder indicated that there were 4 in there holding out. However, those
lonely 4 were all that were needed to keep the bridge from being useful.

Another alarm sounded indicating that another boarding party had materialized.
The XO took a quick peek at his terminal, between shots, to see where they
had beamed to.

"Captain, more intruders to deck 12, near the brig. Looks like Hathor has
become the happy target."

"Great... Get down to Auxillery Control with Ensign Newsome and Sparks.
Get this ship under control, and get me a damage report." the Captain ordered
his First Officer. Then turning to Kitanya, "No battle bridge. This tub is
so old her saucer does not separate."
