the gentle eyes of the reader) "See if you can track the ambassador's
ship. And step by for further orders. t'Llhweiir out." Once that
contact was broken, she said, "Computer, location of Admiral Lasiter."
ADMIRAL LASITER IS IN HIS QUARTERS.
"Until further notice, no direct transport from his location without my
authorization," she said brusquely.

"t'Llhweiir to Ops. Place Spacedock on Security Level Two. No ships are
to leave without me clearance."
(response)
"Transporter Room One, this is t'Llhweiir. Three to transport directly to
Admiral Lasiter's quarters."
(response)
She posted the security outside Lasiter's door. "No one is to enter or
leave without my clearance," she said.

She rang the annunciator and waited.
