>"As CO of Spacedock you would be informed of anything
that

directly impact the

annoyed at the
>situation rather than the individual.
Lorin accepted the answer without question.
>"Since you are here, I am curious why you witnessed
the

necessary to notify
>either Admiral Lasiter or me?"
>Lorin held up the return order of the Ambassador, "Her
leaving

recalled by her

discussions normally. I

activated his PADD,
>"She was recalled due to some type of 'bonding' concern I
believe. What is the

>Lasiter snapped back, "That does not answer the damned
question, Admiral.
>Why did you fail to inform the CinC of Starfleet or the
senior most Admiral in
>SF Command that the diplomatic representative of a major
power was leaving
>this station? A major power that is allied to an enemy of
the Federation,
>that enemy being the Dominion. "
>What was apparent to Lorin at this point was that he had come
at a bad time.
>However, he was there and leaving or dropping the issue was
not an option
>either.
"With all due respect sir, I was not aware we were babysitting her. The Ambassador has been travelling without such notification even as of very recently and we were not following anything other than standard protocols so I did not take any extraordinary measures."
(go easy chris--he is right :))
{OOC: He may have followed protocol, and done what was required. However, he is the Chief of Fleet Security, and should have thought of the implications of a representative of a foriegn government departing, especially one that is allied to an emeny and is considered borderline hostile to the Federation.} "Admiral, he was attacked by a known smuggler and suspected terrorist- Selara D'amondra, while on this station under your command. A delegation of her people were nearly killed when one of our shuttles exploded, again with you in command. One repersentative of her government, Chief Investigator Telax, was murdered while on this station investigating the shuttle explosion. One would think that any reasonable Commanding Officer would have bent over backwards to ensure their security by doing three times as much as protocol required. Doing only what was required is not only piss poor, but borderline derilict." Lasiter was irratated beyone belief. While he was incredibly angry, he did realize that he was not as angry with Lorin as he was about the boiling situation with one of his oldest friends and from being caught off guard by the Venasian departure. Lasiter took a couple of deep breaths before continuing, while the group remained annoyed and silent. Lasiter finally broke the silence after his calming breaths. "Admiral Renaud is there anything else you need at the moment? If not, Admiral t'Llhweiir and I have a rather tense situation that we need to resolve. " {response}
