   This is what Lasiter did not like.  The more people that know about it the
greater the chance it will get out to the public.  That would be the end of
him and his plans to reform Starfleet.  That is if the President did not ask
for his resignation, which is what Lasiter would do in his position.  The
possibility for scandal is a bit more that Samuel was willing to just go along
with.

   "Is there any other option?  This could do more hard to the fleet than
good.  The scandal that this will cause will practically destroy Starfleet
Command and any semblance of trust or faith that the public will have in us."
he asked obviously a bit concerned with the prospect of letting Montgomery in
on the situation.

The door chimed as Matt presented himself there, via the security folks.
