      Still not real happy with her answer, but her new tone seemed to calm
him a bit as well.

      "Then you will not tell him.  Neither will anyone else.  It will have to
come from me." He said, sounding as if he had just given himself a life
sentance.

    The security officer called in to announce Dr. Brennan.

     Lasiter answered, "She has not relieved me yet.  Send the Doctor in. 
Tell all others to go away unless the station is burning down or we are at
war."

     Not willing to disobey the top Admiral, they passed Dr. Brennan.
