Travel time was about 30 minutes, and the landing left a little to be >desired. Upon exiting the craft Boulay found himself in a field, with a small village at the edge >about 120 meters away. He could see a full company of SF Marines in and around the village. The >company commander was near the village organizing their operation.
"Captain Boulay, this is one of the secured areas. Or more correctly, we
hope it is. The First Sargent and I are going to help them unload to thank
these guys for the lift. Enjoy your look around." the Captain said as they
left the transport.
"It's only right if I do some of the work too Captain." To show his
gratitude, he helped lifting a few of the heavier pieces. He knew if he
didn't show his respect for them it'd be a long trip.
The Captain just nodded, and started to lug out the supplies.
Then he indicated he'd meet them in the village. He grabbed his gear and
slung it over his back and started walking into the village.
Boulay arrived in the village to see lots of phaser scortch marks on the
structures, and a few small pock marks from explosives in the streets.
There had been one hell of a fight here. The medics were still caring for
the less severe of the wounded, obviously the more serious cases were
already med-evac'ed out. In the time it took the JAG to get to the village
the Company Commander was done with the majority of his ordering.
{what next?}
