>"Tell me who to speak with and I can see what can be done."

>"I will make a few nonofficial inquiries first, and save the trouble of a

reply.

"Thank you."

>He could not see too much of interest. However, he did notice something,

David remembered the warning about not going outside of the village and as
they were being courteous to him he should afford them the same respect-he
wasn't a military man and he was outnumbered. He non-chalantly walked out
of sight of the area after marking it on his PADD and hustled back to the
main area where he found the Company CO, "I believe you have another problem
developing." He told the CO what he had seen, "The group appeared to be
heading into a wooded area outside of the village after mingling in the
village."

The Company Commander was not pleased. That could mean big trouble, or it
could mean nothing at all. Better be safe than sorry...

"Sargent Major Kreig!" the Marine Captain yelled. "Get me Brave
Platoon's LT and Sargent on the double!" he continued.

Those summoned arrived as well as the Captain and Master Sargent that
accompanied Boulay.

"Lt, Captain Boulay noticed some strange activity in the village. A
group of farmers were out and about, then took off for the woods. I need
you to take some men, and quietely check it out. It could be nothing, but
it may not be. Stay in contact." the Company Co said.

"Aye, sir." replied the young officer. Who then turned to his platoon
sargent, "Sarge, get me a squad of volunteers. Make sure that Corporal Red
Fox volunteers. I need his tracking skills."

The sargent did not respond verbally, just nodded as he turned to fetch
some men. He returned with a littel more that a traditional squad, which
was fine.

  "All set, sir....."
