The company commander simply said, "Lt, get your team ready. I need a
moment with Captain Boulay."
The Lt. got the message, and took the squad elsewhere for a few moments.
The Company CO, Boulay, and the other Marine Captain took a few steps away so
to be sure that they were not over heard.
"Captain Boulay, let us be frank here. I am not exactly thrilled that you
are here. I really do not feel comfortable having rear area folks here in the
front. Especially since this area up until reciently was considered hostile.
However, orders are orders, and HQ says I am to cooperate fully. So, in the
spirit of cooperation, I would like you to reconsider your request." the
Comapny Commander said to the two others.
"Captain, if Captain Boulay feels that he needs to go out there, my sargent
and I will go as well so your team does not have to worry about the 'rear
area' folk. He has a job to do here just as we do. While he has not told us
how to do ours, we should not tell him how to do his."
