    If there were only time.  More mortars.  More phaser fire.

    It was a a fire fight that would determine who lived and who died.

    Boulay was able to make a few good shots, connecting with his intended
targets.  However, more marines fell.  The rebels were not shooting on stun.
    
    The Lt finally ordered, "Set all phasers on maximum.  Aim to kill."

    The chirps from phasers being reset could barely be heard over the fire
from the rebels.

   More shooting....  the odd mortar.
