He left to go brood and see what he could do. He did not like having to sit
back and watch. Doing was preferable. Perhaps there might be an
alternative...
As soon as Garibaldi left, Selara stopped hammering away and got up. She had felt it immediately, during her conversation with Garibaldi. Something had cut her connection with Celana. For the first time in years, Selara felt strangely... free. Something must have triggered this, however.

Going into the little ship, she took a silver-shaped object from a cabinet. She ran it over her arm, and read what the little scanner said. Interesting. Her physiological signs said she was actually still Bonded to Celana, but something was blocking the Bond for the time being. The only thing she knew that could do that was a... Tolothan Barrier?

Her mind racing, she thought very hard about what could be happening. Something had gone down on Pacifica. Who was blocking her? Why? Was it pure coincidence that Garibaldi had come in and talked about Celana just as the TB was put in place? How much did he know? And why would going to Pacifica help him?

Idly, she scanned the news. There was nothing unusual. Interesting again. After ruminating this for several minutes, she decided that until she heard otherwise, it would be best if she kept this to herself. That way, she could best utilize the information...
