SPD: An Ambassadorial Response (Calling All Ambassadors)

(OOC: Do not worry.  Golan is sorta on the outs with the homeworld so it sorta fits.)

The response from the Venasian Embassy was a recording of a smiling Venasian
woman.� "We're sorry, but the Venasian Embassy is currently unavailable.
Please call again soon."� The message continued to repeat.

Golan did not like this one bit.  He tapped his console again and the familiar face of Tamil Dumak filled the screen.  "Request an immediate meeting of the Council, Tamil.  Tell the other Ambassadors that it is an emergency and I will bring them up to speed when we convene."  Golan closed the line without waiting for a response.

He picked up his things and headed for the meeting room that Lt Thompson had set up for group.  It seemed that the Council would have its first test.  He took a seat and called Lt. Thompson to request his presence in the chambers immediately and waited for the diplomats to arrive.
