Given the oppertunity to pipe-up, General Harmin decided to take the
oppertunity, "Admirals, I think that what ever we do we have to be careful.
There are member worlds out there that are hosting Venasians until they find a
suitable homeworld. Something has to be done to protect those people. I
think we need to deploy some protective forces, sir."
Admiral Reyla agreed, "I agree, but I think more needs to be done. Ships
need to be deployed. We need to find out just where the Venasian ships are,
and keep tabs on them."
Acting Chief of Fleet Operations, Vice-Admiral Feylan answered both
suggestions. "All starships have been ordered to report positions and tail
any and all Venasian crafts. Ships have been detached to help safeguard
Federation worlds." he said calmly.
Lasiter added, "I am also sending Admiral t'Llhweiir to Pacifica to
investigate matters personally. Once we have more information we will be in a
better position to act. In the mean time we can notafford to over react.
They are our allies, and we need to support them. The lawful government of
the Venasian people. Until we know more, I suggest that any and all divisions
to get what information they can. We will meet again once Admiral t'Llhweiir
can get a report to us."
