Following Admiral Samuel Lasiter's chat with Lorin Renaud, the CinC proceeded
on to his visit with his son.
As the two started things did not look so good, but surprisingly at one point
the conversation turned to family matters. That is where things softened.
They spent the reminder of their nearly an hour and change visit talking,
calmly. Coming to a peace without specifically doing so. This was the first
step in repairing a relationship that had been so cold for so long.
At the end of their personal moment, the two rejoined the Explorer's captain
to discuss the up and coming mission. That conversation lasted little more
than 15 minutes, then the CinC was on his way back to his office on Spacedock.
He had someone else to call....
