"That would be highly irregular, Admiral." answered the Captain, who
clearly found the idea of an officer just breaking into a conversation
distastful to say the least. "One moment, while I put you through."

It took several moments for Lorin to be put through. His appearance on the
call was about as welcome as it was a surprise.
"Defence Minister Smilla Rosen, General Pershan, General Makrin may I
introduce Admiral Lorin Renaud, the Chief of Starfleet Security." Rear Admiral
Van Der Loo said in introduction as Renaud was patched in.
The Generals bowed their heads slightly in recognition as the Minister
spoke. "Admiral Renaud, this is some what of a surprise."
