The time had come. With her teams in order, command safely in the hands of Black and Polath, Kitanya returned back to Starbase with her Klingon 'assistant', Torgash. The first thing she did was send her formal report on the current situation to Lasiter's office, then, due to the lateness of the hour, she said goodnight to Torgash and went to her quarters. She would see her Horta secretary (and old frind) in the morning, and catch up on all the things she'd kind of missed while she was gone, although Aurelius was the best XO she'd had in a long time. That would be the first item on her agenda; changing out her command staff, now that she had the okay to do so.
