Klothos stepped forward and extended his hands in greeting. "Welcome to the
Hovtej, Madames and Mister Ambassador." Valtris was surprised at his warm
reception. He was not known for his love of other races.

Ael carefully didn't let any sign hit her facial muscles of the noxious odors inside the Klingon vessel. After all, it didn't stink all that worse than other Klingon vessels.

"Greetings, and thank you," she said, inclining her head just a touch. "The ride is appreciated."

Klothos nodded toward the Romulan Ambassador.  "I am glad that the Hovtej was available to serve the Council in this capacity."

Commander Na'Tral looked around. It was worse than she had imagined. There
was a smell, an undescribable smell in the air. It was definately not a
Federation Starship- pristinely clean, completely neutral smelling air....
This was going to be an interesting trip.

Taking the outreached hand of the Klingon Captain, in turn, the female
answered, "Thank you for having us aboard, sir." she replied politely with a
good firm hand shake.

Klothos returned the shake provided by the Andorian.  "Madame Ambassador, I hope that you will find our accommadations acceptable.  I know that other races tend to find our vessels .... unpleasant."

Golan stepped down from the transporter platform.  "I believe they will more than serve our needs, Commander.  We are just grateful that you have been able to help us at such short notice."

"Yes," continued the Aqualish Ambassador.  "Perhaps, you could show us to our quarters.  I am sure that you have more important things to do than chatter with us, Commander."

(any other comments before he shows us the way?)
