"It's my pleasure m'am. If its ok with you and the Doctor, I'll excuse myself to go
to Transporter Room 4 right now. Please give me 10 minutes and then transport." He
said to the Doctor, "I'll bring them right back here with an additional guard who
will be assigned to them unless you feel its not needed. I'll leave that choice to
you. Then I'll contact the Captain and tell him to pass on to their mother that they
are safe. Anything else?"
"I think a guard for them is more necessary than a guard for me," Matt told him.
Lorin hoofed it to Transporter Room 4 and had a guard with him who was a roamer
guard but available for another assignment-he was young and would do well with the
kids. Once to the Transporter Room he ordered others out except for the Transporter
Chief, himself and the guard, "Initialize transporter Chief."
ONce he had left, Matt contacted Kay and had all his appointments cancelled for the
next several days.
He was going to treat himself and spend the time with the kids.
