K'Tael took a moment to scan the hand.? He knew where it came from, but he wanted to make sure that everything was legal.? "It appears to have come from your current position, Commander."
"That is bad news, sir. According to regulations will will have to impound both ships
and take their respective crews into custody so they can be properly examined for
bio-contamination at a full medical facility. Shall I make arrangements to transport
the ships, sir?"
"I think that would be best," replied the CSec.? He looked toward the Bajorans and
dared one of them to speak up on this.? They were had, and everyone on the ship knew
it.
"Do you know what kind of trouble you are in here, Commander?", started Rivik. "You
have no idea what kind of a diplomatic incident you have caused. When the dust settles
you may find that your career is not worth spit. How dare you arrest me? Do you have
no concept of diplomatic immunity?" Rivik was getting rather indignant.
"You can speak to whomever you wish, Mr. Rivik. You are not being arrested...."
K'Tael paused, and the "yet" was clearly implied if not spoken. "You are being taken
in because of health and safety concerns. It is for your good as well as that of
Spacedock's and the shipping lanes."
K'Tael really wanted to tell him how he felt. He was sick of dealing with this freak.
Rivik said nothing, but everything about him spoke volumes. He was fuming angry, and
there was nothing he could do but plot.
{lisa, what's next?}
