The Klingon commander nodded in response as he waited for his communication to be transferred.

A Venasian appeared on the screen, the receptionist from the Annex. "You've
reached the Venasian Consular Annex. Welcome to Pacifica. How may we be of
service today?"

"Greetings.  I am Commander Klothos of the Hovtej.  We have just arrived from Spacedock in orbit around Earth.  We are transporting a group of diplomats from some of the major powers in the Quadrant.  They are hoping to set up a meeting with your government's new leader."
