>"Yes, sir. But, Captain. Doc is dead. He died in interrogation. He was
 >tortured for helping the rebs. For helping the enemy, sir."

 >David's heart sank, "They will pay Corporal...you have my word." He
finished typing all his info into the PADD, "What was Doc's real name and
do you know where >he was from?? Also where are you from? What has he
doctor said about your personal medical condition-will you be able to
return to duty soon?"

 >"Doc's real name was Harold McGinnty, from Sydney, Australia, Terra. As
for me, I'm from New Atlantia on the Beta Sigma 3 colony. Should be
returning to light >duty in few days, or so the surgeon says. Full duty a
few days after that."

"I will do my best to contact Doc's family. Is there anything else you wish to tell
me?"

  "No, sir." answered the Marine.

"The information you have given me is now sealed Corporal. Please do not discuss the
specifics of your post-rebel experience with anyone else. Get some rest
Corporal...I'll be here for some time if you remember more details. In the
meantime..." he went to the Nurse's station and requested
to see the doctor again...when he sees him...

"Doctor-I would appreciate it if you could keep Lance Corporal Stivers out of action
longer. His experience will be very useful in me getting more help out here for this
military action. I will be contacting Colonel Stark to have Corporal Stivers' duty
temporarily transferred to my command."

"I will do what I can, Captain. I believe that the Lance Corporal could be ready
for transit in about 3 to 5 days, depending on how fast he recovers, of course."
