>If I give you a clean PADD, can you use it to write your version?"
>The officer tapped once to signify he could write.

>He took the PADD, and began writing down his story. This account
confirmed the >previous story that David had heard.

"Thank you Private." He secured the info to prevent accidental deletion along with the
other material he had received., "I'm going to go visit with some other patients now.
You get better soon and thank you for your service."

The Private just lay there with a thankful look on his face.

He walked back out-he decided only one more officer would be needed to provide
information-he walked back to the Nursing station and looked at the list to find
another patient he could speak with.

David spoke to several more patients, all of which told similar stories. It was not
Starfleet that was being brutal here, although there may still be some cases of that,
but it was the planetary defence forces that were the main problem. The rebels were
not exactly being kind either, and that could nto be ignored. However, the MAGs were
using Starfleet as a scapegoat. Worse was that it seemed as if there was someone in
Starfleet that was helping them do it.

What was left... Stark had some orders to show David, and there was a visit to the MAG
hospital where some other folsk were being held....
