Alone again, working on reports and preparing for the change of command ceremony at
R&D.

  {any thoughts to add}

At just the right time, when he was looking for another distraction in the paperwork
that he was in the middle of, a call came in. It was Rear Admiral Van Der Loo, for
his routine report.

"Hello again, Admiral Renaud. I am calling with news. It seems that not long ago the
Planetary Defence Forces began execution of a raid on a rebel strong hold. It is
believe that the rebel unit that captured him is based out of there. From the
intellignece that my liason officer has shared with me, it looks like Captain Boulay
may be at this base, or at the very least those that took him. It will take several
hours for reports of the raid to get back to me, probably not sooner than 0800
tomorrow, your time. I have expressed Starfleet Command's interest in the raid to my
liason officer, and she assures me that she will do what ever she can to expedite the
report. I have also personally called the military chief of staff at their
headquarters. He promised to get me the report as soon he can. So I should be able
to get a copy of the report to you no later than 0800, probably sooner if the promises
given to me hold true."
