Bronan A'amon, Head of Family

(image of a tall Venasian. No distinguishing features; he looks like any other
Venasian - dark hair, white skin, blue eyes with gold flecks. Wearing robes
embroidered with the A'amon family crest on the sleeve.)

Birthyear: Fifth Tide Cycle, Venasian year 4309. (approximately 1500 Earth years ago.)
Education: Draneer Military Academy and College.
Service: Venasian

Raised in the A'amon family, Bronan A'amon was the middle of 3 sons. His eldest
brother, Dranen, died of Gorall Syndrome early on, leaving Bronan the eventual
responsibility of heading the family. His younger brother served in the Venasian
navy, and is now retired. Bronan also has 2 sisters, both of whom served in the
military and are now retired. Bronan entered the Draneer Military Academy and College
upon maturation, and finished both sections of the school with high honors. He entered
the
Venasian navy as an officer, fairly undistinguished until he came to the spotlight
during the evacuation of Venase VII. While assisting in the evacuation as first
officer aboard the underwater cruiser Dalek, a piece of the comet struck a volcano,
causing an underground magma rupture which ultimately buried the Dalek and its crew.
The commanding officer stayed behind to ensure the safe escape of his crew, but
perished in the process.

Bronan then rose to take his place, taking over the responsibility of ensuring the
evacuation of the entire Southern Canyon population. Bronan was given a medal of
distinction for his achievement, and his commanding officer a medal of honor
post-mortem.

Bronan A'amon retired with several medals and honors in [Venase year] 4371.
Officially, his early retirement was due to several physical problems accumulated over
his career, but there is some speculation he cut short his final tour of duty due to
psychological stresses. Psychiatric evaluations indicate he never fully recovered
from the trauma endured during the Dalek
entrapment.

After retirement, he took on the responsibility of becoming the A'amon family
patriarch. He continued to campaign strongly for an initiative to find a new
homeworld. Most of his petitioning, however, was turned down because most involved
military strategy to seize planets already occupied by foreign races. Strong evidence
suggests that after several years of frustration in this arena, Bronan began seeking
assistance in other areas,
most notably, ties with the L'mar, a group of radical militants whose sole purpose is
to find a new homeworld. No hard proof has ever connected Bronan to the L'mar,
however.

Bronan A'amon has a wife and three children - two sons, and a daughter - all of whom
currently serve in the Venasian space fleet.

footnote: The Venasian solar year was approximately 21 Earth years. Current year:
4380.

Lasiter read the dossier three times. The leader of the top family in the new order
of the Venasian government was damaged goods. This was an oportunity. A very
dangerous one at that. Lasiter decided not to act upon it just yet, but rather to
keep it in the back of his mind. While an opportunity, it was overly dangerous, but
perhaps another time. He was even more eager to read General A'amon's dossier.
