K'Tael saluted and turned to leave.? Once the two officers were outside the office,
K'Tael stopped Joe in the hallway.? He was never one to question orders, but Renaud's
request was not of the ordinary.? "Joe, is this investigation approrpiate?? Shouldn't
internal affairs be doing something like
this?"

? "I agree, this is a bit out of the ordinary, but not overly so.
Commanders occassionally ask for some quiet information about people. Just be careful.
This could get ugly.", Joe was concerned, but not overly so.

K'Tael nodded. He accepted what Joe had to say considering his
connections to JAG. "Did you want me to join you while you work on getting the
warrents?"

"If you wouldn't mind, that would be great. It always helps to have the lead
investigator present. The judges tend to have questions abour certain things, if you
know what I mean."

So, off they went to Joe's office to fill out the warrent applications. Once the
warrent applications were complete, Joe and K'Tael went off to see a judge. Inside
the office, the judge reviewed the paperwork. He was impressed. Impressed at the
stones that these two officers had, coming to him trying to arrest those in medical
holding.

"Commander K'Tael, just how did you learn of this severed hand? I am interested in
what circumstances and what methods were used to determine it's existance." asked the
judge.
