Audra moved herself into a better position to study the entrance.? Once she arrived she tried to scan the silhouetted vessel to see if she can get any sort of transponder or ID that would confirm her suspicions of the vessel's ownership.

Not being in flight the transponder was not turned on.? However, there were a few markings that were discernable that permitted Audra to make a positive ID.? It was in fact Ambassador Celana D'amondra's ship.? It occured to her one of the strange properties of Venasian ships, or at least her ship.? It was somehow tied to her genetics.? If it she were not the pilot, then the ship could not be flown.? Interesting that it was still here on Pacifica...

Audra was concerned for the Ambassador's safety. She picked up her stuff and made her way back to the team. "Commanders, Ambassador D'amondra's ship is located at the docks."

Dais and Sam looked at each other, realizing that it was a significant find, but not completely realizing it's significance.

"It seems that some Venasian vessels are tied to the pilot's genetic code. That means the ship cannot be flown if that person is not at the controls. It appear's that the Ambassador's ship is one such ship."

That little bit of fill in hit it home for them.

"That is important news. Commander Lasiter, please report that to the Explorer. Commander Firehawk make one more quick around, but don't hang around. Then get back here. We need to plan our next step.", Dais answered.

Lasiter took a step or two away to make his call and report.

As Lasiter stepped away, Audra nodded and headed back toward the docking facility.  She made a quick scan of the area both visually and with her tricorder.

(anything else of interest before she heads back to the team?)
