As Lorin's day winded up his secretary came in.
"Admiral Renaud, I received word from the Chair's office from the
Starfleet Oversight Committee. They would like to plan that reception with
you and Admiral Lasiter for the day after tomorrow. I have taken the
liberty of checking the calendars of both your senior staff and Admiral
Lasiter's senior staff, as well as the SF Command reception suite, and all
are clear for that time. Shall I go ahead and make the necessary
arrangements?" she asked.

"Very well sir. I also received a call from Admrial Van Der Loo's Chief
of Staff. He said that the Admiral has gotten word of possible location for
Captain Boulay. The Chief of Staff was calling to let us know that the
Admiral was leaving his base of operations to personally oversee the
operation to rescue the Captain. The Admiral's Cheif of Staff was calling
because the Admiral could not break communications silence while in
transit." she reported.
