(ooc: sorry-brutally bad weekend...sad when you look forward to monday)

{OOC: That bites.}

As Lorin's day winded up his secretary came in.

>"Admiral Renaud, I received word from the Chair's office from the
>Starfleet Oversight Committee. They would like to plan that reception
with
>you and Admiral Lasiter for the day after tomorrow. I have taken the
>liberty of checking the calendars of both your senior staff and Admiral
>Lasiter's senior staff, as well as the SF Command reception suite, and
all
>are clear for that time. Shall I go ahead and make the necessary
>arrangements?" she asked.

"Yes, please make the arrangements and notify Commander M'rrenn." Lorin
didn't even raise his head on this one.

>"Very well sir. I also received a call from Admrial Van Der Loo's Chief
>of Staff. He said that the Admiral has gotten word of possible location
for
>Captain Boulay. The Chief of Staff was calling to let us know that the
>Admiral was leaving his base of operations to personally oversee the
>operation to rescue the Captain. The Admiral's Chief of Staff was calling
>because the Admiral could not break communications silence while in
>transit." she reported.

Lorin's head jerked up in response to this, "Send an acknowledgement to
the Chief of Staff for me and remind him that I am available anytime about
this issue please."
>

"Yes, sir. The Change of command ceremony is set for 1000 hours tomorrow. All
necessary staff will be present on Mars for the change over. A shuttle will be ready
to transport you at 0900, sir." she added.
